Become a Facilitator: Facilitators are the connection between Stars and program coordinators assigned to schools to ensure the effectiveness of our programs.
Responsibilities:

Short Training Seminar

Meet with Program Coordinator to understand the needs of particular group of children
- Meet with Stars and discuss needs of children, speaking topics, style, and interactive activities

Escorting photographers on school campus

Greeting stars upon arrival arrival and escorting them to classes

Distributing / collecting program forms and Thank-Yous
Become a Star: ‘Star’ is a term we use at Community One to describe professionals who give their time in one of our three (3) programs. Star’s portray a positive image and a great example of what children can hope to achieve.
Responsibilities:

Although encouraged to give as much time as schedule possible, Stars are only asked to commit 20 mins in at least one program yearly

Briefly meet with facilitator to be briefed on needs of the children you hope to empower

Prepare a fun and age appropriate message for respective program
